About
Privacy
Short version: we do not collect your personal data, and your learning stays on your device.
No accounts and no tracking
You do not need to register to use any part of this site. We do not use analytics, advertising, social-media pixels or other third-party tracking scripts. We do not ask about, record or infer anyone's religious identity or beliefs.
What is stored on your device
To make progress tracking work without an account, the site stores the following in your browser's local storage:
- Lessons you have marked as completed, and recently viewed lessons
- Bookmarked lessons and Qur'an passages
- Knowledge-check and path-review results
- Days on which you noted a daily practice
- Reflection journal entries and intentions you choose to save
This information never leaves your device: it is not sent to our servers or to anyone else, and journal entries are never shared with any AI service. It is not available on other devices or browsers, and it will be lost if you clear your browser data.
You can download a copy, clear your progress, or delete everything at any time from My learning. Journal entries can be deleted individually or all at once from the journal.
Server logs
Like any website, the server that hosts this site may keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability. These are controlled by the hosting provider and are not used to profile visitors.
External links
Some links open external sites such as Quran.com, Sunnah.com and GitHub. Those sites have their own privacy policies. Reporting an error through GitHub is optional and public.
Changes
If we ever introduce accounts, analytics or donations, this notice will be updated before those features go live, and any new data collection will follow a deliberate privacy review.
