Educational purpose

This site provides general educational information about Islamic teachings. It is not a source of religious rulings (fatwas), and it is not legal, medical, financial or psychological advice. For personal matters, please consult a qualified scholar or professional.

Accuracy

We work hard to cite sources accurately and to label interpretation clearly, as described in Sources and Methodology. Mistakes are still possible. Please verify important matters with primary sources and qualified teachers, and tell us about any errors.

Third-party content and licences

• Qur'an Arabic text: King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex (via QuranEnc), as compiled in the quran-json dataset (CC BY-SA 4.0).
• English Qur'an translation: Saheeh International, via Tanzil.net, used non-commercially with attribution.
• Hadith English translations: as published on Sunnah.com, quoted briefly for education with full attribution.
• Fonts: Inter, Fraunces, Amiri Quran and Noto Naskh Arabic, under the SIL Open Font License.

Our own lesson text and the site's source code are published in the project repository; see its licence file for terms of reuse. Primary-source translations remain subject to their own licences.

Using the site

You are welcome to share links to lessons and passages, and to use the lessons for teaching, with attribution. Please do not present the content as endorsed by a scholar or institution, or alter quotations from primary sources.

No warranty

The site is provided free of charge and "as is". Learning data is stored in your browser and may be lost if browser data is cleared; we cannot recover it.
