Translation · Saheeh International

13O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted

Explanation

Our educational summary. It is not part of the Qur'an and is not a tafsir.

Addressed to all humanity, not only believers: human diversity exists so that people may know one another, and the noblest in God's sight is the most righteous, not the wealthiest or best-connected.
